I have been reading the problems that people have been having with their cars, and it has raised a question. I have a 1992 Lincoln Continental, with 206,000 miles on it. To my knowledge, the oxygen sensors have never been replaced. I bought the car used, and it had 106,000 on it then. Should I replace them? And if so, how many do I have and what is the location of them?

Thank you

Unless you are in an area that has smog tests don't fix it if it ain't broke.

They are a self generating voltage device that puts out from .01 to .9 volts depending on the fuel mixture. Fords have a heated sensor that will fail before the element does unless you have a problem that causes a rich condition.. They are a little pricy so you make the decision. God Luck Gamblerr
