Car: 1988 Lincoln towncar; 179,000 miles; 5.1 liter engine

Q: The trunk lock has 2 parts (top black rubber covered piece) on top of another lock device. The top black rubber covered part broke off.

My trunk will not stay close or close where the motor takes over. How can I economically repair the trunk lock OR is there a place that can fix something that will allow opening and closing of the trunk? I am in Detroit, Michigan.

Thanks,
