went for a drive and came back home and when I got out noticed headlights were still on even with keys in my hand. I put emergency brake on to see if the daytime running light module was gone but they still did not go out. looked at the clusters of relays but cannot figure out which one runs the light. can you show me which relay it is or help me figure out what the problem could be? thank you

there are no relays for the lights, so it is either a switch or maybe dimmer switch if mounted on floor. start with the switch first.

not on your model car and it may be the headlight switch unless it is a wiring issue.

well then your module is bad we do not know if you have DRL's or not so we have to go with a basic system. but instead of changing parts to find the problem have it scanned to make sure the DRL is bad trouble is with your old system you'll have to find someone that can scan that old system.

it might need to be programmed to your car if so a mechanic will have to do it. it is on the fender shield near left end of bumper on a 1993 on a 1994 it is on left inner fender panel above wheel well.

if I unhook each relay one at a time will that let the headlights go out and tell me that is the one that is bad-by unplugging them one at a time and plugging them back in if they do not go out.

could be a bad headlight switch as well or a wire that has worn through touching something to make them stay on. but if you unplug the relay and they go out it may be the problem. try switching with another relay see if it still happens.

Yes none are for the headlight, try unplugging the switch to see what happens, if they go out replace the switch.

Best, Ken
