Headlights come on by themselves?

My lights turn on, on their own, that includes the windshield wipers if i leave the dial on and the odometer doesn't work as well as the indoor light on the rear-view mirror turns on, on its own.

i was told this might be a wiring issue inside the dash. what do you guys think?
