License plate bulb assembly

Start by removing the license plate bulb lens, then the housing will come out as well, just unplug it and plug he new one in and reinstall the lens and you are all set. Check out the images (below). Let us know how it goes

The whole plug and wire will come out that way? I need to replace the whole thing not just the bulb

Yes, do you see how the lens comes out, the housing will follow it with the wiring. If you have troubles upload an images of the problem as I can walk you through the repair.

Both lights are attached by one plug like in the pic in my first question. How am I supposed to feed the one thru the tailgate?

I think the housing bolts to the rear of the mounting plate. Did you remove the lens? Can you upload an image so I can see?

They dont have lens covers and the plugs arr all corroded, thats why I need to replace the whole thing as shown here
