Both my license plate and center stop lights are not working. I have not checked to see if the bulbs are burnt out yet, but I find it odd that they are out at the same time. I am wondering if it is a blown fuse?

Hello,

There is a wiring harness that runs up one side of the trunk lid that sounds like it got damaged or cut. Can you locate the wiring where it leaves the body and goes up to the lid to check if you can see anything?

Please get back to us we are interested to see what it is.

Cheers, Ken

UPDATE 1; I took out the center stop mount light (easiest to get to) and checked it with an ohm meter. It was 'open'. So, I invested a whole $4 and change for a pair of 1156 bulbs. VOILA! It worked! Now, on to the plate lights..

Fuse #16 is for license plate and dash cluster! I looked everywhere with no answers so I thought I would share for those that have the same problem in 2018.
