Brakes problem
2001 Lexus RX 300 Two Wheel Drive 82000 miles

When I apply brakes I get a jerkingor bumpy
uneven feel in steering wheel.

I have experienced this in other cars I have owned and turning the rotors corrected the problem.

I also replace the brake pads with usage mileage still on the pads.

MY feelings are that when rotors and pads get hot and you run through cold water this has a tendacy to harm rotors. I have corrected this by turning rotors in past.

The RX300 may require other solution for this problem sine it is considered a lurury vehicle.

Thanks for your help,
Alan Weaver

The only way to tell is to mike the rotors to see if it needs resurfacing
