Engine Mechanical problem
2000 Lexus RX 300 Automatic 107000 miles
This is my husband's car. Oil pump failed and engine locked up. Engine needs to be rebuilt. Cost through Lexus is $7,000. The car is only worth $7,000. Other than engine, car is in excellent condition. Should we just donate the car or is there a means of having it repaired at much less cost? Is there an organization that will pay us some value and rebuild the engine as a training tool for youths?
