1999 Lexus RX 300 Stalls after filling gas tank to 'full'.

If I fill the gas tank to the 'click' of the pump, my RX will hesitate and stall for the next 4 miles. There is a bad smell coming from the engine compartment also during this time. If I attempt to fill the tank 'up the filler hose', and let the car sit, gasoline will leak out of the tank (overflow?). Lexus replaced sensors and the 'canister', to no avail.

When I fill the tank less than full, there are seldom any problems.
