speedometer

I have a Lexus 1996 - LS400 V8 Real wheel drive with 187,000 miles.

The speedometer is acting strange. Sometimes it works, sometimes doesn't.

Please advise. Thanks

Have the vehicle speed sensor check at the transmission and could be another one on the dash.
