1994 Lexus LS 400/ V8/ 140,000mi/ rear wheel drive.
Got oil changed, when I picked up the car and drove home it shakes. This is mostly when i hit the gas. I noticed oil on the engine like they spilled it all over, is it poss. that oil got on spark plugs and is causing the prob? If not what do you thing of something called the harmonic...? Any info much appreciated.

Call the place that changed to oil and tell them what's going on. I wouldn't expect someone could spill that much oil.

Received in a PM:

[quote:4603df16f9="njaskolka"]So if it isn't the oil causing shaking what could it be? I literally droped the car off at walmart for oil change. I picked my car up and it shakes when driving and reving the engine. Do you think changing oil and checking the air filter had nothing to do with car shaking. I don't understand how in a couple of hours, after leaving my car somewhere, it can all of a sudden have a major problem like that. I hope u give me more info, what i got does not help at all. I've already called, and went up to the place. If u can't help me I can get help off allexperts.com[/quote:4603df16f9]

You say, "any info appreceiciated". Your last 3 sentneces indicate otherwise. I gaurentee that haning an attitude with people that are trying to help you will get you no where.

I'm choosing to give you advice in a general sense instead of following up with your specific problem. Find a shop that you can trust, take your car there faithfully, lose the attitude. If you take your car to a place that has essentially non-qualified techs, (so they can charge much less), you are going to run into problems.

My point in the first post I made was to have the shop look over their work as any reputable shop would do. I didn't feel that one could spill as much oil as you thought, although I suppose considering where you take it, I guess that isn't out of the realm.
I hope you reconsider how you treat someone that was trying to help.
