Electrical problem
1999 Lexus LS 400 V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

stering wheel will not go up & down.
but will in & out.

What happens is the gear is not catching you have to take the steering column apart and on the left hand side you will see 3 hex head screws that you have to take out and one on the bottom you just loosen take cap off and you will see problem. to see video go on youtube.com and type in "lexus steering column repair"
