Noises problem
1998 Lexus LS 400 V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Key turns, engine won't turn crank at all, hear clicking/boiling sounds coming from engine for a few seconds.

Seems problem is with starter the click is solenoid the other noise possible starter armeture try to turn.
Do dash lights dimm ? check engine light on?
