Engine Performance problem
1993 Lexus LS 400 V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 240K miles

My wife was on here earlier and told yall about the car not starting, So I read the suggestion yall said and went and did just that. So I know its not the spark but I think it may be the fuel filter because it will start for a few seconds but then it acts like it chokes out. Please help me.

Hi kayla_baldwin2007, Welcome to 2carpros and TY for the donation

I've viewed your wife's post and was assisted by legitimate007 you need to do a fuel pressure check with and w/o the fuel pressure regulator and give us some feedbacks on it, we need to take out the fuel system and select the next course of action.

Or you can do this inspect and test the coolant temperature sensor, clean out the idle air control valve and test the throttle position sensor to include the airflow meter-
