I garaged this vehicle about 2 months ago, as usual, with it functioning perfectly, as usual. I attempted to recharge the battery yesterday but it seems not to be taking the charge. I attempted to start with a starter battery. The starter turns and sounds normal but the instrument panel remains dark and the engine will not start. Could this be a ground problem?

Hello –

I would remove the battery and take it to say Auto Zone (AZ) or O’Reilly’s (OR) and for FREE they can do a good draw test on it.

Inspect both cables for any corrosion and clean really good with a steel brush to ensure.

Once you know that is good – then we can take it from there and see if it still doesn’t start if it is electrical or fuel.

If you do need to get back with us please let us know your engine size in liter.
