1997 Lexus GS 300 6 cyl

Where is the brakelight switch located in my GS 300? How do I replace it? Thank you!

stoplight switch is located on brake pedal bracket, below driver side dash. disconnect battery, disconnect switch, then unbolt switch to replace. When installing, ensure switch SLIGHTLY contacts brake pedal stopper in rest position. Then turn switch back one turn and measure clearance between switch threaded shaft and the brake pedal stopper. Adjust until clearance is .02 - .09"
