The engine hesitates when accelerating from idle; it is also idling rough but it never stalled or shut down and it is still developing full power after initial hesitation!! This Lexus has a Toyota 2JZE engine.

have you replaced the plugs, wires, etc? fuel filter?
start there and make shure if the plugs are down in a hole in the middle of the intake that they are not full of water or oil.
