it starts and runs but whene you get to a stop it shuts off . the rpms like at 400 whene you turn it on

That r.p.m. is normal. But is your check engine light coming on??? If so, you need to have the computer scanned.

This could be an ignition, fuel, sensor, or computer related issue. To guess at this point wouldn't do you any good.

Begin with having your computer scanned for codes. If there's codes present, get back with me and I'll walk you through the definitions and any repair procedures.

If there's not, check your engine's systems in the order I listed above. When you isolate the fault, write back and I'll help you from there.
