THERE IS A TSIB(Tech Srvc Info Bulletin) no.BR002-07 after calling dealer & telling them I read this TSIB I am getting all 4 brakes replaced under warranty as stated in the TSIB BR002-07 for 2007 ES 350....HOPE this helps all you fellow ES drivers!
THIS WAS MY STORY!..Anyone else having problems with Lexus quality Service at the Service Dept.??? I have found out that they are not keeping up with fluids, brakes or tires....I am upset!
I leased an '07 ES350 June 06 and just like another posting. Yestrdy (MAy 4,2009) I started hearing metal grinding so I immediately took it over to Lexus! Now, I am told I need new rear brakes for $400. I have only used this Lexus dealer for srvc.except 1 oilc chng. & have never been warned about my brakes appearing to be wearing down or any other POTENTIAL problem. I do not abuse my brakes and only have 36,000 miles on this car, does anybody else find this to be a tad premature for brand new brakes??? My other problem is that I had to go to a Quick lube for my last oil change and they showed me that my power steering fluid was "Burnished" and almost empty. I went ahead and replaced it and watched as they replaced it with a clear fluid not a BLACK fluid that was in there. I asked the service dept lady I deal with @ Lexus Y the mechanics didn't keep up w/ that? She said "You were ripped off!" "Whoever did /said that doesn't know how we do it here at Lexus!" I didn't argue I only listened I wanted to see just how far she could shove her foot down her throat...I know what I think, but what do you guys think? I'd appreciate any advice here! Thank you in advance to anyone who responds to my question.
