2002 Lexus ES 330 drivers side window

I put a window operator and motor in my friends 2002 lexus. It worked out good but when I put the window up it goes up and goes right back down 1/2 way. is there an adjustment for this? It seems like a safety feature to prevent something from getting crushed.

seems like the timing is off. follow the steps below to get it in time..

This procedure calls for the removal of the door panel.

Close the window completely.
Press the reset button on the window motor assy.
Open the window manually (not using the auto function)
Release the reset button and make sure it has returned to the original
positon.
Close the window manually.
