2002 Lexus ES 300 Replacing brake rotors

I need to replace my rotors. I have the caliper off and need to know if the big nut on the axel will need to come off or not. I also see two hole in the rotor that look like there could be a screw or allen screw in it, but not sure. Have tapped with hammer and the rotor has not come off.

Hi Ricky St John. Welcome to the forum. Never loosen that axle nut when the weight of the vehicle is on the wheel. It, along with the outer cv joint, holds the wheel bearing together. The races in the bearing will be damaged and become very noisy if they aren't held together.

To get the rotors off, run a pair of bolts in those threaded holes and tighten them. They will push against the hub and force the rotors off. Sorry I can't remember the bolt size but it's metric course thread.
