Is it possible if the break booster is out or not working properly is it possible only one side of my breaks would work ? How exactly would I know it's not working ?

Is it possible if the break booster is out or not working properly is it possible only one side of my breaks would work ? Check the brake booster turn ignition switch off pump the brakes to exhaust the vacuum-hold it in and then start the car, the pedal should drop slightly if the booster is working-check the ABS unit, combination valve and master cylinder
