Engine turns over but the timing belt does not move?

If the timing belt is turning on the crank but it is not turning the cam shafts then you more then likely have an issue with the tensioner. Basically this is designed to hold tension on the belt so that it grips the cams properly.

I am attaching the info below on the tensioner so that you can check it and the belt because the belt may just be worn to the point it is not holding any longer.

If the tensioner is correct then we may have a larger engine issue. Keep in mind that if the crank was spinning and the cam was not then we are going to have to reset timing. I included that process below as well.
