1993 Lexus ES 300 Car Idles then cuts off

When i start my car it stutters for a couple seconds then cuts off. No matter how hard i press the gas the car doesnt go pass 1000 rpm. What is my problem?

when vehicle cuts off, does it fire right back up?

get a running fuel pressure test performed on it and get back to me.

no it doesnt turn over at all. i changed the fuel pump and the same problem.

best thing to do is perofrom a fuel pressure test with the vheicle running, then when it dies out or if you rev it up pressure drops dramatically i would suspect no fuel, if it stays good then you should be checking for spark, which is unlikely.

well i cant get the car on at all to do that. any other ways i can isolate the problem?

i would perform a fuel pressure test, or i would dump gas down the throttle body, if it fires up if gas is dumped in the throttle body then it is not getting fuel, if not check for spark.

should be bright and blue on all cylinders and pulsing rythmicly.
