Drive Train Axles Bearings problem
1990 Lexus ES 250 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

What is the purpose for the half moon washer? What is it's job or is it not needed?
I was told I would need that part to install the drier side axel but i have no idea where it goes. Please tell me that it is not needed.

It sounds to me like they are talking about the half round washer that goes under 3 of the attaching bolts. (Where axle connects with transmission.) Yes they are needed, and you may be able to find one at a salvage yard, or dealer. The Camry V6 of the same year would have the washer you're looking for also.
