traction control problem. esp bas indicator on dash comes on..

Upon starting engine sometimes indicator ESP BAS and IMAGE of a car skidding are on! If not on ,as long as I do not make a left turn lights remain OFF.Once I make a left turn ,the ESP BAS and image of car skidding come ON and a bell rings, and lights remain on until next cycle of stopping engine , restarting.

First, make sure the brake fluid is full in the master cylinder. If it is, chances are you have a bad ABS sensor on one of the front wheels that loses connection when you turn left. What you could do is when the light is on, have the computer scanned to determine where the problem is coming from. However, if the fluid is full, check the sensors on the front wheels for damaged wiring to one of the sensors.
