Left Taillight driving lights not working?

Both rear lights have fuses under hood fuse box. Use a test light and see if right rear park lamp two has power on both sides. If it does it may be the body module and will need to be scanned for codes. A local pro can do this. The ground for this is at left hand side of engine block so check for a broken black wire at taillight and if it is ground to frame see if it works. If it does that is the problem or if trailer light equipped it may be the trailer light module as well.

A friend was able to fix it. It was the ground after all. Thanks a mil.

Driver side rear running lights are not working, fuse is good, wiring has power.

It sounds like you have a BCM that is going out, but to be sure let's check the wiring by following this guide and the brake light and running light wiring diagrams below:

Here is the BCM location you will need to have it initialized which should cost about $130.00 at a shop. I would try a used one though first.

I have this problem as well the shop replaced the BCM cost $560.00. I wish I found this earlier.

I have a 2005 chevy colorodo and the rear left tail light is out. I changed bulbs and still nothing. checked all fuses, all good. I put a tester on the sockets and I get no power. One of the sockets looks a little brown. Any suggestions?

You will probably have to trace the hot wire under truck it may just go over to other light assembly.
