I replaced the bulb for the left front turn signal. Now both left and right turn signals are flashing fast but the bulbs do not light up. I can replace the other bulb but is something else going on that I should consider first?

Good evening

The flashers go fast when bulbs are out leaving an open circuit.

Replace the rear bulbs and see if the flashing is normal.

if the bulbs continue to burn out, check for water in the lens. if there is then you will have to replace the tail light assembly.

I changed all the turn signal bulbs and checked the sockets for each of them. The front turn signal bulb socket on the driver side show some melted plastic has occurred. How can I find out why this happened?

The melted plastic is from heat from a bad connection.

Replace the socket with a new one and retest.

You can get a replacement socket at a parts store and it will come with the wires and all to install.
