Will these tires work for my vehicle in the winter Laufenn X FIT HT

These will be fine for surface roads in all seasons. Looking at the tread pattern, it is more than capable of ejecting moisture out of the tread which is what you need. Just don't try to go off road at all. They probably will not last as long as others but they will be just fine for a while if price is the major driver. Most of the complaints for tire performance in ice and snow comes from heavy footed drivers. Not sure their expectations are reasonable.

I drove an 2003 Liberty for 8 years in NY. Ran various tires on it during that time. I tried to have new ones on before winter. The biggest thing in any vehicle in snow is the driver. Especially with a 4WD vehicle. Some think that 4WD means they can drive with impunity in bad weather and snow and ice, without realizing it makes no difference for braking.
That said, a dedicated snow and ice tire will always out perform an all season in snow. However an all season tread was all we ever ran. Usually whatever the local WalMart had 4 of so General or Firestone. Never had any real problems, but you had to drive careful in heavy snow and slush like you should anyway. Also tossing a couple sandbags in the back can help a lot as the Liberty's are a bit light.

Yea, the liberty is so surprisingly light! I drove professionally for 62 hours a week so I am luckily experienced and skilled, although definitely going to get some bags of sand. I appreciate the input! Thank you very much.
