2003 Other Rover Models Keys,,& CD Player,,

After just purchasing a 2003 Landrover Discovery II SE7,,I just took out the battery to clean the cables and posts,as well as the compartment that houses the battery.After reconnecting everything back,,,it runs great,,& everything works,,,EXCEPT,,the keyfob WILL NOT unlock the door,,and the CD Player will not work,,even though radio works fine.I would really appreciate any help or suggestions that you may offer.
