Head gasket repair cost

I have recently had my vehicle diagnosed with a faulty head gasket. I was wondering what is a rough estimate of what the price should cost to fix it? So that I have a good idea of what to expect.

Dealer part head gaskets are $50.00 each. Labor time is twelve hours to replace both sides. If shop rate is around $120.00/hour you are looking at approximately $1,440.00 for labor plus gaskets/coolant/ misc costs along the way. (Have heads checked for cracks)Probably run you around $2,000.00

How many hours should be charged for a head gasket change on 1999 Land Rover Discovery 2 with the 4.0?

Both heads time is 11.1 hours. Single head is around 9 hours.
