Drive Train Axles Bearings problem
2000 Land Rover Discovery V8 All Wheel Drive Automatic 180K miles
I am having a series of problems with my Land Rover lately.
High millage, but in good shape. Always starts in very cold weather (I live in CO).
Recently I started having trouble with the gear shift -- getting the vehicle into park after stopping. Now I must push the button under the shift cover that releases the vehicle from park to get into reverse or drive.
I was stopped by a cop last night that told me that my tail light was out. It was the upper left running light above the tail light instead. Replacing the running light bulb did not fix the problem. Now I don't have break lights and the Locked Differential Warning light appears on the dash when I hit the breaks. The interior lights work. The fuses are all good.
Are my two issues related? Or is this vehicle finally hitting the wall?
