1997 Land Rover Discovery 2 no power

codes came up as crank position sensor and missfire on all cylinders.
I was thinking coil pack or change cranke sensor first
or both.Do i have 2 problems at the sametime,is it possible to have coil and cranke sensor go at sametime.
