Knocking in engine

Vehicle was driven for four hours with low oil. When oil was added it began to rattle with a knocking sound when turned on. All electrical components are working, IE, lights etc.

It is tough to tell if the noise is serious or not without a quick video. Can you please upload one from your phone so I can hear what the noise is?
