2000 Kia Sportage 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic
I drove my car home last night and it was just fine...nothing out of the ordinary. This morning, I leave for work and my car starts to shudder when the gas is applied. The check engine light is on and it doesn't want to accelerate. It reverses normally and will coast downhill, though. I checked fluid levels and all were fine. It will start effortlessly and rev in park, however, when I drive it around the neighborhood, it will not accelerate above 20 mph...even with the pedal to the floor. I am not sure if it is the timing belt, transmission, spark plugs, etc....Any ideas?
