One morning my car needed a jump-start. With in that process the jumper cable hook up was found to be incorrect. The cables caught fire. I mean, burnt completely up. The damage sustained was audio, over head lamp, map light, the signals indicating door or trunk is open, ignition ring light, and possibly other minor features are not working.
I've checked all the small fuses inside/outside the vehicle all seem to be fine. Now the relays, I'm not sure. Is this an electrical problem? And,if so. What can I do about it?

It sounds like you took out the body control module. Has that been checked? Have you checked the main 100 amp fuse under the hood?
