I hear a tapping sound from under the hood, when i first start it up the engine in the mornings, but it stops within a minute or so, what could this be?

Is the oil clean and full? It sounds like a lifter that is collapsed and pumps itself up when you start it. Also, what brand oil filter do you use? Does it have an anti-flowback valve? Is the oil pressure good when you first start it?
