The injector cleaners are manufacturered knowing the vehicles with injection are new enough to have catylatic converters. Thus, no an cleaning will not hurt the converter. Just make sure you follow the directions from the manufacturer. For example, if the directions say to add one can of cleaner to minimum of 10 gallons of fuel, don't do it wil a gallon left in the tank.
