i bought the van used a month ago the said they changed the timing belt and the fuel pump and intake gasket ... first the starter acted up not wanting to turn the engine over i had it rebuilt and out of the blue the thing won't start cranks very well checked spark.. it does have spark. checked plugs and the are completely dry so i checked fuel pump.. when u turn key on it makes a thud sound so i pulled the lines and tried again no fuel comes out so i changed pump my self with another and still the same.. i check all relays and fuses that i could find still nothing... I was wondering is there a sensor that runs off either crank or cam that would control fuel only and not spark since i have spark and no fuel and or is there an air gap that controls fuel system that could be a miss since they changed the timing belt.. i am mechanically inclined and have some electronic knowledge as always more indepth answer would help thanks......

im sorry but i can't check pressure b/c i can't get any fuel to come out of the pump i have taken the line directly off of the pump and nothing comes out all i get is a thud noise im leaning towards electrical problem and not mechanical like power or grounding issues and all this did happen over night just sitting in the driveway i got in and it didn't start i cant get the fuel pump to operate i have checked the fuses and relays. so either it's a sensor or computer or some other relay that's not at the junction box or a connector that wasn't properly connected by the shop that did the timing belt previously. i will be checking power and ground issues today thank you
