You need to remove the inner door panel to access the handle. Then it is just a matter of disconnecting the linkage (clip) and unbolting the handle You shouldn't have a problem.

THere are a few screws that need removed, the arm rest, and then clips between the panel and the door. NOTE: The screws in the arm rest will most likely be covered with plastic plugs. Just pop them out with a small screwdriver.

I need to fix the exterior door handle on driver side sliding door. How do you remove the inner panel?
