the car has 1.6L engine. when test with engine diagnose device this is what came up in its error code:-

P1507 = MPS (motor position sensor) - abnormal
P1505 = kick down servo switch

the check engine always light up even after the error code has been erase.
during in idle, the engine timing suddenly increase from normal but after few second it drop down back to normal. this condition will occur a few times but not always. what should i do to resolve this problem? what should i check/investigate/test?

Hi zulanders, When there is a fault in the control system, erasing the codes do not serve any purpose. You need to replace the faulty item or repair the wiring. P1505 = Idle Air control valve opening coil signal low input. P1507 = Idle Air control valve closing coil signal low input. Possible causes: Open or short to chassis ground between IACV and ECM Faulty IACV

The IACV, in the diagram it is called the ISC( Idle Solenoid Control), is located on the throttle body.

I am not able to find any diagrams to show you how the connector has 3 wires with the following colors: 1. White. 2. Red/Green. 3. Green. It is an attachment that is mounted onto the throttle body with screws and can be disconnected.
