This one has to be easy- I just don't know the answer. Have pulled all needed mechanicals off the car to perform timing belt replacement EXCEPT how is the " Key " removed from the last metal pulley cover for the Crankshaft which allows that last access to the bottom gear and timing belt ? Thought I was home free when I got the crankshaft bolt out using a impact wrench only to find that once the bolt was out there is a small metal key that prevents the pulley mounting plate from coming off. Tried just pulling the part off but obviously that is not going to happen !!! Thanks for the info using the posts - but can't find this covered. Great assistance !!!!

When you remove the pulley, the key will stay on the crank.
