Engine Performance problem

i've been experiencing this trouble with my car engine for a month already where after every re-fuelling, my car engine will still start but when i step on the gas it stalls. i am just letting the engine run for few minutes untill it return to its normal condition before stepping on the gas pad. but the first revolutions sounds unusual. why is it that the problem only appears during re-loading of fuel? appreciate any feedback from you that can lead me on correcting my car trouble.
