Engine Cooling problem
2004 Kia Optima
My thermometer water pump hoses and timing belt were replaced and the hand still goes into the red when I drive for a while and then Idle. There are no leaks around the hose, they burbed the radiator twice and found no leaks. The coolant level is staying steady. I am expected to go back for visit number 6 in less than two weeks to see if they can diagnose. What are they missing?
Someone told me there is a sensor that goes out when the thermometer is replaced but they keep saying that it does not need to be replaced.
