It's pretty cut and dry. Remove the belt, hoses, unplug the wires and remove the 4 bolts from the side. Please follow this guide for more information https://www.2carpros.com/articles/replace-air-conditioner-compressor and here is a diagram for your car

Please,

Do I access through the passenger wheel well or from the top of the engine compartment? What else do I need to remove before removing the compressor? Alternator? Space is very limited. What is the most practical and quickest way to do this? Does it come out through the top? Also it seems very difficult to get to the tensioner to remove the belt. Photos if you have them.

Thank you

Hey JWORR4

Here is a complete guide on how to do the job of replacing the air conditioner compressor with diagrams (below) to show you how on your car.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/replace-air-conditioner-compressor

and

Discharge the system of freon/oil, disconnect the belt, unbolt the two a/c lines and unbolt compressor. Make sure to disconnect all electrical lines as well. If installing a new compressor, check the oil level and reverse procedure. Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.
