Drive belts

BELT ADJUSTMENT Power Steering Loosen hinge bolt "A" and flange nut "B". See Fig. 4 . Turn adjusting bolt "C" to set belt tension . See Fig. 4 and Fig. 5 . Tighten hinge bolt "A" and flange nut "B" to specification. Alternator & Air Conditioning Compressor Loosen pulley lock nut "A". See Fig. 6 . Turn adjustment bolt "B" to set belt tension . See Fig. 6 and Fig. 7 . See BELT ADJUSTMENT table. Tighten pulley lock nut "A" to specification. Start engine and turn A/C on. Allow vehicle to run until normal operating temperature is reached. Turn engine off, recheck belt deflection after operation and readjust belt tension as necessary.

1. Loosen hinge bolt "A" and flange nut "B". See Fig. 4 .
2. Loosen adjusting bolt "C" until you are able to get belt off.
3. Install new belt. After belt is seated, pull it to slide around pullies to ensure it is seated correctly.
4. Turn adjusting bolt "C" to set belt tension to specified deflection.
5. Tighten hinge bolt "A" and flange nut "B" to specification.

Serpentine broke, need to replace but it seems too long following diagram.
