vehicle just recently started acting up. Never had an issue until now. I got an oil change on Wednesday, then on Thursday it started acting up. I noticed that when I stopped the car shook a little, then when I pressed on the gas it made the normal sound at first but then it sounded like it rattled. Also, when I was driving it, the car shut off and the oil light flickered. I was able to start it right back up. Not sure what it could be.

I would start by checking the engine oil level. It sounds like they might have not the correct weight oil in the engine, or the level is really low. If you could upload a short video of the engine noise in your response we can tell for sure. Also, lets run the codes to see what comes up. This guide can help:

Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem.

Hi,

The idea that it shook leads me to think a vacuum leak may have been caused when it was worked on. Do me a favor. First, confirm the air filter box is fully seated, make sure the tube between the air filter box and throttle body is attached. Take notice if there are any small rubber vacuum hoses that are damaged or disconnected.

Here is a link that explains how to check for leaks:

Let me know what you find.

Take care and Happy 4th of July,

Joe
