Hey, I lost my factory keyless remote, would I be able to get an aftermarket remote for make model year range and program it myself via diagnostic plug under hood etc? There seems to be lots of views online but I'm not sure if '10+ model year qualifies. If not, what's the typical cost for programming at dealer or key locksmith etc? Thanks

Hi,

Yes, you can reprogram it, but it requires a scanner that can communicate with the vehicle's computers.

I attached the procedures below. Take a look through them and let me know if this is something you can do.

As far as the cost, usually, this is a one-hour job, so it will be based on the labor rate.
