Keyless programming not activating

Several attempts to put car on fob programming mode has failed.
Question 1. How do I verify if the keyless option is available on my 2004, e150 XL van, van purchased without keyless fob at auction sale?
2. If all models have the keyless option where is it located?
3. Also I have parts for 2001 e350 cargo van is the keyless module interchangeable?

Hello,

Some of those van came with factory keyless option.
To find out if your van is equipped with it, the best option would be to call your local ford dealer and provide them with the VIN. They can look up all the factory options and be able to tell you that information.
The module is located (if equipped) under the passenger side cowl. I have attached diagrams below.
The module from the 01 is probably not interchangeable as they have few options and different part number.
