I just put a rebuild 350 tbi in 100 miles ago. leaving from having an alingment done it wouldn't start. nothing, no check engine light, no dash lights, no buzzer, no turn signals. a few minitunes later all healed.... started up.
got home to my shop, tightened up batery wires, tourqued the bell housing (just checking) knocked off the oil pressure sender clip and put it back on, adjusted the steerring box a bit (adj. nut and bolt on top) hop in to take it for a spin and nothing. I have head light and park-lps all the time and power in the fuse box to ctsy (don't know what that is) with the key on. nothing else. battery is good clean and tight the fuse link distrubution bar has power. All the fusable links are good. computer has constant power coming in on two orange wires. I've tried a different computer. I've tried a different neutral safey switch. the big wire from the battery at the starter is hot.
Can the key switch make this happen? can I test it?
any help would be wicked cool!!

the two arrows on fuse box should have power from fusible link if not link is damaged. the brn and org wires from ign switch shold power other fuses. red wire comes from fusible link to ign switch check those for 12 volts if no voltage you have a bad link or broken wire/connector maybe in dash. also check battery to body ground, eng/batt and eng/body

Ugg... now I don't have turn signals.
there is power to the turn/bu fuse and there is power to the flasher.
I have tried a different flasher.
do you know how to chase this down?

ya burnt the truck lol... see if purple wire gets power then check ground on flasher it may be bad. or body ground which isaid in previous replies. then follow to t/s switch it may be the switch but I kind of doubt it as it worked previously
